The Luckiest Dad In The World

My wife emailed me the coolest Christmas picture ever, but there was one little problem. Mr. Santa Clause wasn't smiling, so the photo just didn't look as nice as it should have. Thanks to Photoshop I took care of two problems. First, I ditched the unhappy Santa. Second, I added my own face behind the beard, which allowed me to be there 'in spirit' with my girls. I'm not a pro like 'CoffeePot', but it still works.

The picture is now up on my wall here where I work, and I couldn't be happier. There isn't much else in this world as beautiful as my little girls smiling.

That's impressive work, T. I can't tell that it's been Photoshopped at all.

I hope that picture makes it a little easier to get through each and every day over there.

Awesome job, Major T. And the only thing that could beat your daughter’s smiles is to see those beautiful little ladies smiling in person. Wish you the best - and to all your dude and dudesses friends over there, too.

You know, if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed that you did any Photoshopping to this picture. I just thought Santa had a really dark tan (since the lighting on the face is different).

Mauser*Girl, I left my face a little darker since my tan is all but gone out here.

I was wondering for a minute if you did this before you deployed. Recognized you instantly. Good job on the Photoshop. Beautiful smiles on those girls!

Words fail me. I'm so sorry you have to be in Iraq, and yet so grateful you're keeping the faith by being there.

God Bless you and your beautiful family: may you all be together soon.
