Our Aussie Brothers and Sisters in Arms...
On 3 April the Royal Australian Navy and Air Force lost nine brave, dedicated, and honorable young men and women. They were risking their lives to help the Tsunami and Earthquake victims in Indonesia, something many anti-military people tend to forget. Most of our military work and effort is humanitarian, not combat. Australia, my adopted home, has fought with the United States on nearly every front over the last century. From serving humanity to protecting it, the U.S. and Britain have no better friend and ally.
Never forget...

There is not a day that goes by since April 2005 that I don't miss my friend Paul McCarthy. He was my friend and he was the most amazing person I had ever known.
It is now more than two years on and I still miss him terribly. To his family, what can I say, I know how affected my life has been, so god only knows how you feel.
They say God only takes the best and apparantly that must be true. If I can prove myself as half the person he was, then I will be happy.
It has taken me this long to post this blog. That is how much his passing affected me.
