Mother Nature Is Coming...
And she's looking a bit peeved. Must have been that grasshoper I stepped on the other day.
Current Winds gusting at 30+. Time to batton down the hatches.
Also, I was trying to link the moving radar map, but I can only link a single image. Does anyone know how to link the moving map, almost like a gif.?

Bookmarking for later enjoyment; neat site great wit.
12:14 PMEwww, that can only mean one thing. It will soon be here. You wouldn't consider keeping it, would you? We're currently at a nice balmy 61 degrees F.
Regarding the animated weather map, I'm not the most technical person, so I like simple and this doesn't look so simple. Weather.com has the map in .jpg, then when it animates it is using various time lapse .gifs that are pulled in and overlayed with current data using javascript.... or something like that. And it doesn't look like the animated parts of the image are available to download, it just refers to them in the coding. Some of my even-less-technical-than-me friends would say all they just heard was "blah, blah, blah". Maybe another of your readers will have a better explanation.
Good luck! We had all that wonderful weather late last night / early this morning. There wasn't much damage but it sure flooded some of the streets in town! Take care and be safe!
2:40 PMI got a taste of some wonderful weather last evening flying from Philadelphia to Birmingham. We jerked & jumped around so much I had to put my book away - was making me sick. The tornados moved out before we got into B'ham, tho - just some lightning off to the east. I'm grateful!
I like the new look!
