Terrorist, Rogue States, and WMDs... Oh My!
Terrorist, Rogue States, and WMDs.... my kind of conference. I'll be attending this over the next few days out in D.C. Hopefully it'll be worth it.
It's been a while since I've delved into this much research and insight on intel and WMD issues. I miss it. I just wish the Air Force would let me do it full time, but hey... they need coffee brewers and power point slide makers with Masters Degrees in National Security Studies. What else are we good for?
"Would you like some sugar with that General?"
At least they're sending me to this conference. I'll write about anything I come across that sounds interesting. If it all turns out to be a big bore, I'm hitting some museums.

Make mine a Master in Healthcare Administration - and toss in a visit to our base this Wednesday from our MAJCOM 4-star - and you're singing my song, brother. PowerPoint. Ech. But I can make a DAMN fine cuppa.
You missed us by three days! We were just down there.
Bummer.
But we did discover that being Air Force Family is all encompassing- my 4 year old son made us spend TWO HOURS looking at Every. Single. Exhibit. in the Air and Space Museum.
How the heck did you swing a TDY to that conference? Bummer, wish I had gone.

I'm working on a masters degree right now...seems that having one these days doesn't mean much, though....and PhD stands for Permanent Head Damage...no thank you!
anyhoo...do the air and space Smithsonian for me. I love that place. did you know that NASA is borrowing things from museums as they design that new version of Apollo (buddy at NASA tells me)? Is our government creative or what?!
Have you seen this armored suit? Our very own Stormtroopers (In a good way)!

Research on WMD's - very interesting. One of my friends just completed some research on WMD's in Iraq.
There are plenty questions about Iran. But there can be no doubt WMD's are sprinkled all over Iraq! There are WMD's in Iraq. They are just not the one's the media talks about.
WMD's FOUND IN IRAQ
"Did you know that U.S. troops have fired in combat 2,500 tons of radioactive bullets and shells during the past 16 years? Made from a material referred to as Depleted Uranium (DU), these kinetic penetrators are 99.8 percent Uranium 238, a radioactive emitter of Alpha radiation with a half-life of 4.5 billion years." – Montana Depleted Uranium Education Project
The United States government sent Dr. Doug Rokke to the Middle East during and after the first Gulf War. He was sent to investigate the effects and amounts of DU left there by our military. Upon returning home, Dr. Rokke became sick from the very substance he was sent to investigate.
We found the Weapons of Mass Destruction and Dirty Bombs in Iraq. They are ours! We have found the enemy and he is us. [more]
