Astronaut Stalker Was To Be Tracked By Satellites
Hollywood couldn't have made this up even if we tried.
"Orange County Judge Mike Murphy had earlier said Nowak could be released on $15,500 bond provided she stay away from the other woman and wear a monitoring device"
She was to be tracked with a GPS ankle bracelet, yet just before her release they slapped her with attempted murder charges.
(insert your own 'travel to strange black holes in prison' joke here)
And for all of you little kids who want to grow up and become astronauts, let me repeat....
Crack Is Whack!

They were talking about this on the radio here this morning. Apparently she drove from Houston to Orlando to confront the other woman.
They said she even wore a diaper while driving so she wouldn't have to stop for bathroom breaks.
I heard that she had a bb gun and mace in her car.
She claims that she just wanted to confront this other woman, and scare her into talking about the relationship, but with a bb gun and mace? It's a good thing that the cops got their hands on her.
I get turned down for pilot/nav flight training and they let this nutjob be an astronaut? What controlled substances was she taking? If this were 1960, she would have beaten Neil Armstrong to the moon. Makes you really wonder about those careful, arduous screening processes doesn't it?
You gotta read the police report at thesmokinggun.com
hilarity will ensue.
I especially find it funny that this all took place 5 miles from my house. life is entertaining here in Flori-duhh.
5 Miles??!! Dude, I wouldn't leave the house. There could be more crazy geniuses with steel mallets, rubber tubing and diapers out there.
