Symbolism in Iraq

I apologize to Michael Yon and Joe Rosenthal for using their photos this way, but I couldn't help but see the similarities between raising the US flag over Iwo Jima, and both Christian and Muslim Iraqis raising a cross over a church in Baghdad.

Let's hope that the Iraq picture represents the same progress and success that the one from Iwo Jima does.
