Coming Soon to a Theater Near You...

He faced down Iranian hardliners...

...and stuck it to the evil imperialist American soldiers in Iraq.

He nearly conquered America with his friend Kim Jong Ill...

...using cunning hand to hand skills he learned while married to Madonna.

Now Sean Penn is taking on his toughest role yet...

Coming soon to a theater near you, Sean Penn is
'The Publicity Whore'

He sets out to save New Orleans' last victims with a leaky boat, a broken motor, bullet proof vests, and a vast entourage of photographers, news reporters and body guards. The Big Easy may have suffered at the hands of Hurricane Katrina, but it cannot escape the wrath of Sean Penn in his most autobiographical role yet....

'The Publicity Whore'*

*A Streisand/Sheen Production
in association with Michael Moore Studios.

Oy. Whenever you have someone famous who makes a show during a disaster like this, you have to wonder whether they're doing it to help, or whether they're doing it for the publicity. Obviously, if they're trailing 50 camera crews that they brought with them, they're probably doing it for the publicity...

And besides, why do the rules not apply to these people? All I've been hearing on the news was that volunteers shouldn't just show up because that adds to the chaos. They need to co-ordinate with the Red Cross or other relief agencies first. Yet these people like Sean Penn and Macie Gray just SHOW UP. *rolls eyes*

I'll have to miss that Sean Penn movie - as I've missed all of them. Absolutely sickening excuse for a thinking human being.

Terrific post!! Too funny. I've been reading that there's a good chance that Cajun's everywhere have a huge smile and lots of chuckles today. The same ones who sold him 'a brand new boat' that he was too stupid to put in the plug or check the motor on. And he has the nerve to call Bush or anyone else an idiot?

He is SUCH a dork. I don't even know why he thinks anyone cares WHAT he's doing, let alone why it's necessary to take a boatful of people along...makes rescuing others a problematic task.
