Hugo Chavez, the 'Howard Dean' of South America
Think about it.
They both spout off about supposed evil U.S. imperialst conspiracy theories.
They both have temper problems.
They both try to scare their followers into submission.
And neither of them rarely make any sense.
Example One:
Chavez:
Chavez Warns of Moving Jets to Cuba, China (to make Bush mad)
Dean:
I still want to be the candidate for guys with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks.
Example Two:
Chavez:
CHAVEZ (THROUGH TRANSLATOR):I'm telling you that I have evidence that there are plans to invade Venezuela. Furthermore, we have documentation: how many bombers to overfly Venezuela on the day of the invasion, how many trans-Atlantic carriers, how many aircraft carriers need to be sent to (inaudible) even during (inaudible).
Dean:
"We've gotten rid of him [Saddam Hussein], and I suppose that's a good thing" (Saddam wasn't that bad of a guy I guess)
Had the United Nations given us permission and asked us to be a part of a multilateral force, I would not have hesitated to go into Iraq. (We serve the U.N. first)
Example Three:
Chavez:
George Bush is the Devil. I am the Anti-Bush!
Dean:
Arrrrgghh!!!!!!
