I'm In The Dog House....
Why??!! Because in the chaos with my transition to a new job, my Commander's retirement ceremony, and everything else, I forgot that the Air Force Dining Out was tonight instead of tomorrow night.
In other words, I had to call the wife and let her know. Try telling a woman that she had only a few hours to get her manicure, pedicure, hair, makeup, and dress all together.
Of course no matter what, she'll look like a Princess....
And since my uniform is still not ready, I'll be showing up in style...
I'm so dead.

How long does it take your wife to get ready for such a function?
I never understood why a manicure, pedicure and hair appointment are necessary to go to such an event.
I usually wear closed-toed shoes, file my nails and slap on some polish, and pin my hair up. It takes half an hour and I don't have to run all over town to do it.
