West Coast, East Coast, or No Coast

The wonderful people at the Air Force Personnel Center have given me three career choices to make by this Friday.

A: West Coast

B: East Coast

C: No Coast (otherwise known as Hasta La Bye Bye)

No other options. I even asked for a deployment to Baghdad, but the answer was no.

The clock is ticking..... any suggestions? Any good job leads outside the military? Any tips on choosing the best tin can and 'Will Work for Food' sign?

Been to Hanscom - LOVED it. If the Boston thing wasn't just a picture fluke.

Anyway, it depends on your career track, right? What works best for your future?

And in all honesty, the choice between LA and Hanscom (supposedly) could be a lot worse.

Why not Minot?

Minot, Thule Greenland, Canon New Mexico... yep, there are worse out there.

It's Boston or LA. Nothing I wanted, but you know the AF.

WEST COAST!

(although, you probably already knew I would say that)

Are you KIDDING??? You have to think about Boston??? I'd fall to my knees and thank God above if I had had that option! Where I am now ain't so bad, but Boston??? How fun! I hate LA, so there's no question there, but BOSTON?!?! Man.

The West Coast?

Omaha, Nebraska on the west coast of the Missouri River!!!

I definitely would not choose Los Angeles. It's a great place to visit, but I can't imagine living there. The traffic at 11:00 at night is worse than rush hour here!

Do they really want you to be a highway patrol officer/motorcycle cop?

Hanscom's nice. Small, but well kept. Boston's a nice city too. I get down to Hanscom quite a bit since it's pretty close to where I am. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. And good luck in your decision.

WOW! Tough break. I'll be interested to see where you land. If you get out and want to head my way, there's work to be had in Texas. And, personally, I'd take Boston over LA anytime. Of course, I like winter!

Oh...by the way...you've been TAGGED.

I hope you get the chance to join the fun!
