I can neither confirm nor deny the fact that he definitely needs to smoke something... anything... to get him to shut up. He just boosted the morale of the enemy ten-fold.
This is comparable to Cronkite's 'Vietnam is lost' statement after we obliterated the NVA in Tet and had them on their knees.
Gee bad guys, just hold on a little longer and we'll give in.

Reid is really not worth the anger and energy that I've expended since I heard that statement yesterday. I sent an e-mail that I'm sure he'll never see. It's hard to see anything much when your head is stuck in the position I'm damned sure his is. That's not pretty (grammatically) but I'm too mad to try to fix it.
