Abu Graib Today
Black Five has some great photos from Abu Graib from the last 6 months. With all the latest media hype over the pictures that are 3+ years old, taken by some sociopath 'a-holes' rotting away in Leavenworth, the latest pix are simply too positive for the MSM.
One thing you can count on in the media... if it's good for the U.S. it won't be shown, whereas if it's bad it makes prime time.

You know, I was looking at those "new" pictures one of the news agencies had. In one, I saw a prisoner standing in a stress position. Pretty routine for questioning and not inhuman or cruel. In the other I see a photo taken to document an injury prior to treatment. And in another I see a person properly restrained by use of two stretches as prescribed in medical manual. I don't see the issue with those pictures...

Unfortunately, the issue with some of the pictures is that people who aren't familiar (most of Americans) with things that have to be done and are all legal and fine and dandy think they are horrific.
Obviously I'm not talking about the sick stuff.
The press is well aware of the difference. It just suits their purposes to stir up the sh*t.

Thanks for your post about this. The media couldn't say something good about our Military if their life depended on it and funny thing is it is their life that is being protected by our military from the terrorists owning us here in America.
