Congratulations Marines - The Thunderchickens are On The Loose
The first V-22 Osprey squadron will be activated today.
They're appropriately using the call sign 'Thunder Chicken'.
I just hope the damn thing works.

I'd fly it...but I'm one of those sick/crazy pilots who rolls his Cessna.
Hey! Did you know that if you stall the B2 it goes into an end-over-end unrecoverable spin? The flight controls prevent the pilot from slowing the aircraft too much and there is a stick pusher program to keep alpha below the power-on stall condition.
How many more years do you think it will be before computers replace all combat pilots?
Today's newest plans are almost all dependent on flight computers making hundreds of minor corrections to the flight controls just to maintain flight because the plane is too odd of an airframe to remain airborn without computer assistance.
In other words, computers are already taking over manned flight. All future bombers and fighters will be unmanned as well.
Next thing you know, a T-100 will be knocking on your door telling you to go with him if you want to live.
Damn skynet.
PID controllers own us all.
Have you seen the thought controlled prosthetics that some of the universities are starting to develop? They’re making Luke Skywalker arms. It’s mind-blowing!
